There are two types of corrosion damage in oil fields, which are highly similar to the acid washing conditions in chemical industries:
Crude oil, diesel, engine oil, hydrocarbon organic solvents: Ordinary PU / cowhide, ordinary rubber will expand, soften, peel off, and dissolve the surface layer when exposed to oil products;
Oilfield chemical corrosion: Acidification operations involve concentrated hydrochloric acid, corrosion-inhibiting strong alkali, demulsifiers, and various chemical additives splashing;
Additional explosion-proof requirements: Oil and gas volatilization is prone to static electricity ignition, so anti-static measures must be taken;
Mechanical risks: Oil pipes and tools hitting feet, metal debris puncturing, slippery and oily ground on the oil platform.

Material of each part:
Upper: Butyl anti-corrosion rubber / One-piece PVC acid and alkali resistant rubber, seamless and without pinholes, resistant to concentrated acids, strong alkalis, hydrocarbon solvents, and crude oil without dissolving
Insole: Butyl rubber isolation liner, does not absorb corrosive liquids
Insole pad: Anti-corrosion rubber foaming, does not rot in oil, acid, or alkali
Midsole: Stainless steel puncture-resistant layer, resistant to chemicals without rusting and perforation
Steel toe: 65Mn alloy steel toe, outer layer rubber coating to prevent acid and alkali corrosion
Outsole: Special anti-corrosion rubber, oil-resistant FO grade, dual anti-slip, does not expand or separate when immersed in oil or acid and alkali
Conformity level (fully meets the requirements of the oilfield)
Basic safety: GB21148-2020 AN1 anti-squeezing, 1100N anti-penetration, SRC anti-slip, FO oil-resistant;
Chemical resistance: GB20265-2019 6th level for highest acid and alkali resistance, EN13832 Class II resistance to organic solvents;
Optional anti-static (10⁶ to 10⁹ Ω), meeting the mandatory explosion-proof requirements of the oilfield.

The upper is made of buffalo leather and ordinary PU synthetic leather. It will peel and dissolve when exposed to strong acids, strong alkalis, and crude oil solvents for several hours.
The inner lining is made of ordinary mesh fabric: ordinary textile fabric, which continuously burns the skin due to its absorption of oil and acid or alkali.
The sole is made of ordinary double-density PU/soft rubber. It will expand, slip, and peel off when soaked in crude oil for a long time, and has only mild oil resistance but is not resistant to strong acids and strong alkalis.
There is no fully sealed anti-permeation structure, and the sewing holes are very prone to allowing chemical liquids to seep in.
